    A good place to visit is, without a doubt, Pina. This beautiful village belongs to the municipality of Algaida and is located in the centre of Majorca. The whole village seems taken from the pages of a fairy tale: man-made caves, talayots (ancient Majorcan structures), a wonderful fountain, a valley,…<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Fountain and the Valley are precisely what most stands out in the village. The fountain can be found at the entrance to the village and it is surrounded by ivy and elm trees. In addition, the stoned fountain is surrounded by also stoned buildings which melt with the greenery making it a postcard worthy spot.<\/span><\/p>\n

    The Valley is also awesome. It is crossed by a little stream and if features a lot of vegetation.<\/span><\/p>\n

    In general terms we can say that Pina is a lovely place from Majorca where surely more than one will fall in love with.<\/span><\/p>\n

      In Majorca, lordly houses are called \u00abposesiones\u00bb and we are going to talk precisely about one of the most famous ones. It was an Arab \u00abAlquer\u00eda\u00bb (a small rural community in the Medieval Age) in its origins and it features some dreamy gardens. You will fall in love with this finca from the very first moment. <\/span><\/p>\n

      Its origins go back to the time that Muslims occupied and governed in Majorca. In that time, Raixa was very precious thanks to its reserves of water. Later on, after being acquired by the Sureda de Sant Mart\u00ed and Safortesa-Tagamanent families, it was burnt down during the Revolt of the Brotherhoods (a Spanish historical episode in which the artisan guilds confronted the government of King Charles V in part of the Crown of Aragon territory).<\/span><\/p>\n

      Its final restoration was made by Joan and Antoni Despuig i Dameto brothers who transformed the property in an authentic palace of Italian inspiration, with some astonishing gardens which are still preserved nowadays.<\/span><\/p>\n

      It currently belongs to the Consell de Mallorca and it is also a World Heritage Site due to its amazing beauty. We recommend you to visit it if you want to know a little more about the history of Majorca as well as to enjoy one of the most beautiful environments in the island. <\/span><\/p>\n

        No doubt, this is one of the prettiest and loveliest gardens you\u2019ll find in Majorca. The (Jard\u00ed Bot\u00e0nic de S\u00f3ller) botanical garden of Soller construction began in 1985 and in 1992 opened its doors to the public. Currently it\u2019s being used as a study center of the Balearic and Mediterranean flora.<\/span><\/p>\n

        Inside this gorgeous garden you\u2019ll also be able to find the Natural Science Balearic Museum where there are a huge collection of \u00a0Balearic fossils and different permanent expositions that will leave you speachless.<\/span><\/p>\n

        On the other side there\u2019s also the Botanic Institute and the Reserve and Protection Area, just like other different zones where we\u2019ll be able to get to know not only the Balearic flora, but also the flora from other Mediterranean zones and the Canary Islands. <\/span><\/p>\n

          All over the Mediterranean sea we\u2019ll find different coaster salt mines, perfect spaces for the salt creation. We highly recommend you to go check Ses Salines d\u2019Es Trenc because, without doubt, it\u2019s a natural place that will leave you amazed.<\/span><\/p>\n

          Besides, it\u2019s perfect for the ornithologists that\u2019d like to discover new Mediterranean Species that have found there a place to live. A small ecosystem that has nowadays a huge ecologic value. <\/span><\/p>\n

          Can\u2019t forget! If you visit it you\u2019ll be able to grab a little piece of Salt from Es Trenc (a Mediterranean Deli) that\u2019ll match perfectly your meals. A real luxury!<\/span><\/p>\n

            Heading to Formentor, halfway on the road, you\u2019ll find the breathtaker Mirador des Colomer: a place where you\u2019ll enjoy the loveliest sunsets and that will, for sure, leave the prettiest memory of Majorca.<\/span><\/p>\n

            Enjoy yourself a few minutes there watching the immortal beauty from this lookout. Done? Great! We\u2019ll get you to a even more impressive lookout made for those who are not afraid of the narrow roads: the Talaia d\u2019Albercuix.<\/span><\/p>\n

            This tower was made at the ends of the XVI century and was a strategic vigilance point due to the constant pirate attack. This Talaia is 380m sea level and gives amazing views of Pollen\u00e7a, Formentor and the rest of the Serra de Tramuntana. <\/span><\/p>\n

            Besides, you\u2019ll be able to get inside the tower and scale on top. Not made for everyone! But no doubt, a pleasure for the eyes.<\/span><\/p>\n
