Why? Majorca is an island that not only has beaches and coves, also has imperious mountains such as the ones in Serra de Tramuntana (catalogued as Heritage of Humanity). This makes special the fact that there are some straight paths, some ups and downs and curves. These are some of the reasons why so many cyclists come to Majorca each year.

If you’re a cyclist and you’d like to come to Majorca to practice this sport, here you are some cycling routes of Majorca. Don’t leave Majorca without having done them!

Cycling routes of Majorca

Playa de Palma – Llucmajor – Santuario de Cura (Randa) – Algaida

The route starts in Playa de Palma and then go following the coast until arriving to s’Arenal. This way, you’ll be able to enjoy a big coaster landscape, the sea, people and the sun. You should be careful with the sun due to the burns it could cause you. Always bring some sun cream with you before starting any kind of activity where you could be exposed to the sun.
Following the route, we’ll get to Llucmajor and continue to the Puig de Randa where there’s the Sanctuary de Cura. In Puig de Randa we’ll be able to get some rest and observe the views that this wonderful place has to offer. Finally, we’ll end up the route in Algaida, getting a total of 40,1 km of distance made.

Sa Pobla – Port d’Alcudia – Faro de Formentor

This route is one of the best routes by bike all over Majorca.
