Nostra Senyora de Bonany\u2019s Sanctuary<\/h3>\n

This sanctuary is located in Ariany, more precisely in the top of the Puig de Bonay (a small mountain). The first data that we\u2019ve about this sanctuary is from 1606. This sanctuary has amazing views from a few Majorcan towns and a playground where you can enjoy a lovely picnic with friends in one of its wood banks.<\/p>\n

Lluc Sanctuary<\/h3>\n

To start describing this sanctuary we want to give you a clue: Lluc comes from the Latin Llucus, which means sacred woods. Lluc Sanctuary is located in Escorca and it\u2019s surrounded by nature. Deep woods along old houses and the visits of thousands of tourists and locals that decide to visit it to discover more about the island roots, worship its architecture, or just to breath some fresh air in the middle of the calm that this place brings us.<\/p>\n

First data we have about this sanctuary is from 1268, since it was already considered a sacred place by then.<\/p>\n

Cura Sanctuary<\/h3>\n

Cura Sanctuary is well known for being the place where Beato Ramon Llull received his illumination. On top of the Puig de Randa we can find this religious wonder form 1257 and in which we\u2019ll find more than 20 different caves that are worth the visit. A curiosity: Puig de Randa can be seen from almost all around Majorca for its \u201cwhite ball\u201d on the electricity tower that\u2019s located next to the Sanctuary.<\/p>\n

Son Peret\u00f3 Basilica<\/h3>\n

Basilica de Son Peret\u00f3 was a religious building built in the paleo-christian period (between V-VIII b.C centuries) that we can find between Manacor and Sant Lloren\u00e7 des Cardessar. In here we can find a basilica that was used as a place of worship, a baptistery, a necropolis and some rooms attached to the basilica.<\/p>\n

The wonders of Alar\u00f3\u2019s Castle<\/em><\/h2>\n

On the highest mountain of Alar\u00f3, more precisely at 882m high, we find outrageous views, the nature on its prettiest state and well-kept ruins of what one day was a Muslim military construction from the 902 b.C.<\/p>\n

Currently we can visit it with an easy hike and from it we can see almost all Majorca. It\u2019s an amazing experience for nature and history lovers.<\/p>\n

Sa Foradada<\/em><\/h2>\n

If we want to visit the North of Majorca, concretely Dei\u00e0, in between the cliffs that dress the marina side of the Serra de Tramuntana, we\u2019ll find a small peninsula that ends with a holed rock known as \u201cSa Foradada\u201d.<\/p>\n

This beautiful rock shows us the way to look at if we want to see one of the prettiest sunsets all around the world. The water and the sky melt in one, a spectacle that attracts the attention every day of dozens of visitors that would like to live a unique event.<\/p>\n

Tram and Soller Train<\/em><\/h2>\n

This train is being characteristic for being one of the few trains that still has its own gauge, meaning that\u2019s managed by a private company (Ferrocarrils de Soller S.A.) and it\u2019s one of the main things that give it its charm.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s still working with the same pieces than it did back in 1912, it\u2019s inauguration, and it still connects Palma with Soller town. No doubt it\u2019s mandatory to jump on it during your holidays in Majorca.<\/p>\n

On the other side we\u2019ll also find the Soller Tram. Inaugurated back in 1913, and just like the train, it still has the same infrastructure than when it began working.<\/p>\n

In this case, its trajectory goes from Soller town to Soller Port and also we can see some hidden places from the North of Majorca if we jump on it.<\/p>\n
