Dijous Bo<\/em>, which in Mallorcan means \u00abgood Thursday\u00bb, is the biggest traditional fair in Mallorca<\/a><\/strong> and one of the most important festivities in the Balearic Islands. This celebration attracts thousands of visitors not only from all corners of Mallorca, but also from the other islands of the archipelago and the mainland. Dijous Bo <\/em>is celebrated in mid-November, filling the city of Inca<\/a><\/strong> with a great atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With origins dating back several centuries, this fair initially began as a livestock market where local farmers and ranchers could sell and buy animals. Today, it has grown into a huge celebration with music, games, food stalls, and activities for the whole family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dijous Bo is one of the most popular events in Mallorca, where the streets of Inca fill with life and up to 200,000 people congregate in a single day. Livestock markets were the backbone of the local economy, and Dijous Bo <\/em>emerged as a special day on which buyers and sellers from all over the island gathered. Although the livestock aspect has lost some of its prominence over the years, the market spirit remains, and every year, Mallorcan farmers and livestock breeders continue to exhibit their products and animals at this great fair.<\/p>\n\n\n
