And the thing is that in Vacalia we really feel like telling you how our island is and the things you can visit in it, and we don\u2019t tire of doing posts about the different places you can visit.<\/span><\/p>\n

As we have just mentioned, we want to explain what you can visit in the South of Mallorca in this post, so let\u2019s start with this adventure, you won\u2019t regret for sure!<\/span><\/p>\n

What to see in Mallorca?: 1st day in the South of Mallorca<\/h2>\n

Imagine you wake up in a wonderful finca far away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre, let\u2019s say in: <\/span><\/p>\n

Then, Manacor is your place. This beautiful and longstanding city is located in the South of Mallorca and highlights as one of the biggest municipalities in Mallorca. Here you will find from beautiful coves and ports to old architectural monuments that will amaze you for sure. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the morning, we recommend visiting the Church and the Sant Vicenc cloister, two beautiful buildings from the 16th and 17th centuries located in the Convent square which, apart from ensuring you a wonderful morning, will allow you to have a walk along the city centre as they are in the centre on Manacor, where you will also find the worth visiting Palace Tower and Mossen Alcover Institution.<\/span><\/p>\n

After lunch, that we recommend having it in some \u201cceller\u201d or restaurant to taste the best Mallorcan food, it is time to visit Portocristo, the Port of Manacor.<\/span><\/p>\n

Portocristo also belongs to the municipality of Manacor and that is why it is also called Port of Manacor. Here, you will enjoy the lovely promenade by the sea and discover the White Caves or \u201cCoves Blanques\u201d (caves located in front of the sea) or penetrate the deepness of Mallorca through the caves of Drac or \u201cCoves del Drach\u201d. A wide range of possibilities that will make you to revel every second of this special corner of Mallorca.<\/span><\/p>\n

What to see in Mallorca: 2nd day in the South of Mallorca<\/h2>\n

It is time to start the second day in the South of Mallorca and you will be wondering what you can see in this beautiful spot of the island. To start with, you will head up to Felanitx, not far away from Manacor, where another dreamy day will be waiting for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Felanitx has a great town centre where you can find from the 16th century Church of Sant Miquel, to the magnificent Santueri Castle. In addition, if you prefer to visit little villages outside the town we recommend going to Son Prohens, Es Carritx\u00f3, s\u2019Horta and Cas Concos. There, you will enjoy nature and quietness and admire the beauty of this little havens of peace at the same time.<\/span><\/p>\n

After that, we recommend having lunch at one of the nearby beaches like Cala Mar\u00e7al o s\u2019Arenal, so that you can visit Portocolom, the natural Port of Felanitx, afterwards. \u00a0<\/span>For dinner, no doubt, go to Porto Petro. This idyllic bay will make your dinner become a luxury thanks only to the turquoise Mediterranean views you will have.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0What to see in Mallorca: 3rd day in the South of Mallorca<\/h2>\n

We have left some of the most beautiful Southern coves for the last day. And no doubt, the thing is that Santany\u00ed is one of the most charming villages in the island. In the morning we recommend going to Cala Mondrag\u00f3, a precious cove located in the Mondrag\u00f3 Nature Reserve where you can take a dip in the crystalline waters which seem a natural pool.<\/span><\/p>\n

For lunch, definitely go to Cala Santany\u00ed. It is not far from Cala Mondrag\u00f3 and it offers a wide variety of restaurants and, let it be said, a simply amazing cove. <\/span><\/p>\n

Besides, since you are still there, you can go to Cala Figuera in the afternoon, a nearby cove with a wonderful natural port which is the result of a breach between the land and the sea. There you will find some cliffs where admiring the beauty of nature, as well as having dinner in its busy and nice port where you will find dozens of restaurants.<\/span><\/p>\n
