Casa Olivar, located in Ciutadella's iconic Plaça de la Catedral, right in front of the entrance, has a spectacular and perfectly symmetrical façade with a large entrance.
Unlike the Torre Saura County Palace, located on the same block, it undoubtedly stands out for preserving one of Menorca's private artistic and historical heritage sites for over 400 years. Unique French-influenced murals are one of the palace's most valuable artistic features.
The old dining room stands out, with two valuable Italian marble tables, the clock room containing richly carved Chippendale furniture and an English Logmann piano-organ. The hall of mirrors with Louis XV furniture; the great hall with an important painting of the Visitation of the Virgin to Saint Elizabeth, and family portraits, among which those of Paborde Marc Martí and the travelling knight, Bernat Josep d'Olivar, stand out.
