The best thing about this duplex is its location. The house is a 5 minute drive from the heavily tourist Port de Alcudia, a 5 minute drive from the walled city of Alcudia and a 10 minute walk to beaches located in Alcanada. Port de Polencia is also just a 20 minute drive north. As you walk out the front door and go about 20 feet, you find a set of stairs leading to a path that follows the coastline. Everyday, we'd walk down for a quick jump in the water as there are many accessible spots along the rocky waterline. Although there were only 2 of us, this house can easily host 6 people with its three bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning. On very hot days, the stand-up fans are not enough. Having used VRBO homes throughout the world, I was a little disappointed in the lack of some of the basic amenities such as body soap, coffee supplies (filters or pods, etc), salt/pepper/olive oil, aluminum foil, etc. These are things that people should not have to bring or buy when staying in a house. Overall, the kitchen equipment was slightly sparse; if you want to do a lot of cooking, this will not be the kitchen for you. Newer appliances and countertops are great, but lack of equipment makes the kitchen low functionality. Parking is on street or in driveway and we found the entire neighborhood incredibly safe along with the house itself. There is construction next door but wasn't an issue. Overall great house!

Welcome to this magnificent house for 6 people, located in front of the sea, between Puerto de Alcúdia and Alcanada.
Imagine what a marvel should be to take a coffee or an orange juice in the morning, in any of these terraces, meanwhile you read at the same time you gaze at the sea and feel it. With batteries fully recharged, you can also enjoy having an amazing day at the familiar and peaceful beach of Alcanada, just situated at only 1.5 km. In addition to this, there is an ideal grassy area and two sun beds too, in case you just prefer to stay at home sunbathing. Moreover, there is an outdoor shower for the maximum comfort. And, of course, there cannot miss a glass of wine at sunset in the time you are staring at the sun setting behind on the horizon.
The house, with a quite atmosphere, has two floors. On the ground floor, there you can find such a comfortable living room, equipped with a satellite TV. Within some steps, you gain access to the dining room area, where you can prepare tasty banquets. The kitchen, open to the living room, is well equipped with ceramic hob, oven and everything you need for cooking. The laundry has a washing machine, an iron and an ironing board. Going upstairs, there you have three dormitories, which all of them have a fan and two of them also have a wardrobe and they lead onto the terrace. Likewise, one bedroom has a double bed, but in the other two rooms there are two individual beds. There is also availability for a cot and a high chair. Regarding to the bathrooms, there is one with shower on the ground floor and one with a bathtub upstairs.
Alcanada is a really peaceful zone, mainly populated by local peoples and it gives the privilege to enjoy of a very cosy beach. Moreover, if you are golf lovers, at only 2 km there is the Alcanada golf course. By contrast, the area of Puerto de Alcúdia is much more tourist and bustling, which also offers one of the most beautiful beaches of the island, with crystal-clear waters and fine-textured sand, although it is much-visited. Ultimately, it is a remarkable privilege to accommodate between those two cities to decide, according to what you feel like doing, a calmly day or just a lively one.

3 guests reviewed this property. We stayed for five days and it’s a great apartment if you’re into interior design and art. It screams 70s somehow. Very solid but yet delicate interior. Loved the paintings, loved the wood. Some minor details could have some touch-ups but nothing major. The owner is very friendly and responsive.
