The beautiful town of Arcos de la Frontera is located in the northwest of the province of Cádiz, on top of a rock at the foot of the Guadalete River, where the Jerez countryside and the Cádiz mountain range meet .
In the centre of Arcos de la Frontera stands the hotel La Fonda del Califa , built in the 19th century and a place of rest and relaxation for many personalities of Spanish culture of the last two centuries.
