Over mountainous terrain but inside the village of Caimari at the same time, this superb house with private pool and capacity for 5 guests welcomes you.
The views from the property are superb. You can admire the centre of the village from the pool as well as the green fields, the mountains and even the sea. Imagine your days of rest swimming alone or basking in the sun on one of the 5 sun loungers, surrounded by the protected Tramuntana mountain range. The chlorine pool sizes 4 x 4 metres and has a water depth of 1.5 metres. It is placed at the right centre of the wonderful terrace with several levels, something that makes it quite special. In front of it, there is a fantastic attached terrace furnished with a table and chairs to enjoy your dinner alfresco and under the starry sky, with the only company of the lights of the village, an unforgettable experience!
The house is distributed over two tastefully decorated floors. The entrance hall leads to the dining room and the kitchen. The first one, has a Mallorcan style palpable in its natural stone walls and rustic furniture, which includes a large table with designer chairs to sit and eat together. After three steps and a large archway, we access the kitchen, equipped with rustic furniture, induction, oven, microwave and everything you will need to cook like at home. On this floor there is a bedroom with a double bed and wardrobe, as well as a separate bathroom with shower. Going upstairs we reach a beautiful living room, where you can watch satellite TV on the sofas, listen to music on the CD player or read a book in the rocking chair, accompanied by the scenery and the air conditioning. Here we have two further bedrooms, one with a double bed, a/c, space for a cot and highchair, and en-suite bathroom with shower. The other has a bunk bed and wardrobe. Five radiators and a separate laundry room with washing machine, iron and ironing board complete the equipment.
Caimari is a small and charming village located in the middle of the Tramuntana, which abounds in nature and features all you may need for your stay. Inca, a small town, is just 5 km from Caimari, where you will find larger stores and a variety of entertainment, apart from its traditional market street, that takes place every Thursday in the morning. The area is ideal for lovers of nature, hiking, trekking, cycling etc; Nearby there are various walking routes. And, of course, Caimari is very well known due to its production of olive oil since it has a great olive mill where the oil is elaborated with the olives of the area. A 30 minutes' drive takes you to the north coast and to lovely beaches like Playa de Muro and Puerto de Alcúdia.
You will find a space to store your bicycles and some tools in the property.

Das Haus ist sehr gut eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Sehr sauber. Das Haus hat viele Treppen, dementsprechend mit ganz kleinen Kindern schwierig. Das Parken immer ist vor dem Haus möglich (Garageneingang). Wer ein Dorfhaus auf Mallorca bucht, sollte bzgl. fahren und parken stressresistent sein. Am besten den Weg außerhalb des Dorfes wählen, direkt nach dem Ortsausgang rechts einen steilen Berg hoch. Urlaub empfehlenswert!!!!!
The house is very well furnished, nothing is missing. Very clean. The house has a lot of stairs, which makes it difficult with very small children. Parking is always possible in front of the house (garage entrance). Anyone who books a village house on Mallorca should be stress-resistant when it comes to driving and parking. It's best to choose the path outside the village, right after leaving the village on the right up a steep mountain. Vacation recommended!!!!!

To address some of the comments in other reviews, and add some details I'd have found useful before we went, here's some other notes I took: Despite other reviews to the contrary, you *can* park outside the house (the garage opposite is part of the property) although the village roads *are* very narrow and winding. Book a small hire-car if you can! 2 sets of towels are provided, for inside and pool use, and there is a drying rack outside the back door for swimming stuff. Initially we could only find 1 parasol at the house, but then found a second in the garage. We did need both as there isn't much shade in the garden. There are also beach umbrellas provided if you venture out to any beaches (we did this twice during the week). Inca has several large supermarkets, but the small supermarket in Caimari was fine for top-up shopping. We walked down every morning to buy fresh bread. The house TV has Movistar and we were able to find a few films in English to watch in the evenings, although navigating the system was a bit tricky! There is also a bookcase in the sitting room which contains a few English novels (plus lots of German ones!) in case you run out of poolside reading matter. There's a double bedroom on the ground floor, then another double upstairs, and a bedroom with bunk beds. All bedrooms have air conditioning, as does the sitting room (the kitchen-dining area does not, but we often ate up on the roof area - there were occasional wasps but it wasn't a big problem) We loved the barbecue provided and used it a few times during the week. Charcoal and lighters were at the property, and we also bought more. The kitchen is well stocked, lots of pans and sharp knives.

There are a couple of bars, restaurants, shops and a pharmacy in the village all of which are very friendly. The house has a lot of steps, some steep, so may be tricky if you have trouble with steps. You need to park nearby on the street or near the village square there is a free car park a few minute walk from the house. Beach is approx 25 min drive. Otherwise can't fault it. Perfect.

Die Ruhe ist unbeschreiblich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Der Terassengarten mit dem Pool einfach nur Luxus. Die Abende auf der Dachterasse bei untergehender Sonne sehr entspannend. Der Ort hat sehr wenige Touristen nur zwei sehr, sehr kleine Hotels. Die Einkaufsmöglichkeit reicht für den täglichen Bedarf, jedoch ist in Inca (5 km Entfernung) ein großer Lidl, ein großes ALDI und weitere Supermärkte. Für Caimari würden wir allerdings immer nur ein sehr kleines Auto mieten, da die Straßen für einen Mitteleuropäer sehr eng sind. In der Regel konnten wir direkt vor der Tür parken, insofern ist die eigene Garage nicht nötig. Für Gehbehinderte ist das Haus allerdings aufgrund der vielen Treppen (sehr hohe Stufen) nicht geeignet.
The peace is indescribable. The beds very comfortable. The terrace garden with the pool is simply luxury. The evenings on the roof terrace with the setting sun were very relaxing. The place has very few tourists only two very, very small hotels. There are enough shops for your daily needs, but in Inca (5 km away) there is a large Lidl, a large ALDI and other supermarkets. However, we would only ever rent a very small car for Caimari, as the roads are very narrow for a Central European. We were usually able to park right in front of the door, so we didn't need our own garage. However, the house is not suitable for people with walking difficulties due to the many stairs (very high steps).

See more Eine sehr schöne Finca in traumhafter Lage. Das Haus ist liebevoll restauriert und äußerst geschmackvoll sowie stilsicher eingerichtet. Den Ausblick von der Dachterrasse runter in das Dorf und auf die Kirche haben wir jeden Abend sehr genossen. Wirklich nett war auch die zur Begrüßung bereitstehende frische Ensaimada mit Aprikosen und dem heimischen Wein. Ergo: Absolut empfehlens
A very beautiful finca in a fantastic location. The house has been lovingly restored and extremely tastefully and stylishly furnished. We really enjoyed the view from the roof terrace down to the village and the church every evening. This is a lovely villa in a quiet location. The pool area was very clean with loungers provided. A car is a must as it is needed to travel to a shops and beach area’s. There are 2 stairs in the villa which have deep steps so may not be suitable to those with mobility issues or small children. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Das Ferienhaus in Caimari liegt wunderbar am Hang mit einem tollen Blick auf die Insel von der Dachterrasse aus. Das alte Haus ist sorgfältig saniert und mit viel Liebe zum Detail ausgestattet und dekoriert worden. Wenn jemand nicht so gut zu Fuß ist, ist es eher nicht geeignet, da im Haus zwei Treppen sind. Der Vermieter ist sehr aufmerksam und hat einen Defekt sofort repariert nachdem wir in angezeigt hatten. Die Küche ist gut ausgestattet, Liegen und Pool sorgen nach einem anstrengenden Wandertag für Erholung
The holiday home in Caimari is beautifully located on a hillside with a great view of the island from the roof terrace. The old house has been carefully renovated and furnished and decorated with great attention to detail. If someone is not very good on foot, it is not suitable as there are two stairs in the house. The landlord is very attentive and repaired a defect immediately after we reported it. The kitchen is well-equipped, loungers and a pool ensure relaxation after a strenuous day of hiking
