Can pere vell
Small and quiet village located in the west of the island of Mallorca. The name Capdellá, in Catalan, means at the end of there. On the outskirts there are some splendid Possessions, large agricultural estates of yesteryear that made up the rural landscape of Mallorca, such as Son Vic Nou, Son Vic Vell, Son Cabot, sa Coma and the houses of Galatzó (an old estate that was owned by Ramón Burgués-Safortesa i Fuster, Count of Formiguera, one of the most influential Mallorcans of the 17th century). A 19th century legend, inspired by that of Comte Arnau of Catalonia, tells that he became Comte Mal, a knight who was condemned for his cruelty to ride eternally at night on a black horse wrapped in flames.
